Hi everyone!
The Handmade Expo is on again tomorrow and this one is shaping up as the biggest market yet for them!
There’s over 140 stalls, Soulman Gaia singin his soulful tunes, the sausage sizzle, the Swanbank Steam Train rides and the Fireman from the 2011 Fireman’s Calendar!
A very big one…
There’s always plenty to eat too…Yum!
I also have 2 new Hairclip sets for sale.
These are the little non-slip variety that everyone seems to love, especially for those little people that have trouble keeping clips in their hair!

They will be available for $6 each.
I’m really looking forward to this one!

Remember, if there’s anything you see on my blog that you’d like to purchase you can drop me an email  or visit my Etsy store and I can organise your purchase. I charge Australia Post rates and within Australia, these items will cost $1.20 to post! Email me for overseas postage costs.
Have a great weekend.

They’ll come in a set of 2 clips in one colour. Cute huh?
They are on Etsy too, as of last night!

I’ve also added a few more mixed sets of Single Yo-Yo’s to Etsy. You can check them out here.

April Handmade Expo Wrap-Up

I had a good day at the Handmade Expo on Saturday.
My new Yo-yo hairclips were a hit, selling plenty of those and well as plenty of other goodies.
My Mum came and helped me out for the day. Always nice to have someone to chat to.

I took some pics of my stand too.
Check out the bunting! They turned out really good.

My scrapbooking embellishments…

Lots of Notelets…

Check these out…this was morning tea with our cuppa!

Another fun day out at the Handmade Expo!

Chat soon,

Off to market

I’m off to market tomorrow.
The Handmade Expo is on in Ipswich, at the Ipswich Turf Club at Bundamba.
Open from 8am-2pm, with free parking and entry.
The steam train is running also, which is a big drawcard and it’s also the Ipswich Festival this weekend, so I’m hoping for a BIG day!!

I have some new hairclips for this market.
New Yo-Yo ones, which are a bit cute.
They must be, as Ella has already gone and picked some for herself.

I have a special running at the moment, that if you purchase one of my hairclip holders, you’ll get one of these cute little Yo-Yo clips for free.
They’ll be on Etsy soon, but the special is especially for the markets.

I’ve also made over my cork boards this week. I covered them in fabric, as the white spray paint didn’t look very nice. So, I’ve made the cork boards into little clotheslines with twine and used those cute little clothes pegs to hold them all on. They look great now!

I also have some new Sculpey buttons trios and some new Paper Owls.

If you pop by to the market, be sure to pop by and say Hi.
I love meeting blog readers.

Let’s hope the weather is nice. Although, I’m prepared if it isn’t.
This time round is the first time I’m setting up my tent myself. We’ll see how that goes?? LOL

Chat soon,

They’re over for 2009…

I did my last market for 2009 at The Handmade Expo today.
My lovely Mum, Di came and helped me on my stall.
It’s not often she helps me. I’m usually helping her with her business, so it was a nice change.

We set up nice and early in the cool, before the heat took over. It was warm and I did get a little sunburnt. For the HOT weather Ipswich can turn on, we were pretty lucky today. Lots of cloud cover and a lovely breeze which sometimes turned into wind and had me chasing embellishments around the place! LOL
A lovely lady on a neighbouring stand came to my rescue with some sand weights to hold things down. How nice was she??

We had a great day. Sold plenty, which is always good. Christmas time is always good, with people looking for goodies for Christmas gifts.
I also got a lead or two to follow up in the New Year…You’ll have to wait and see what that’s about. I’ll keep you posted! 😉

Here’s a few pics of what I had today…

My Notelets are one of my best sellers!

I altered some Address books, this time round which were quite popular too.

Even Christmas cards went well.

It was a lot of fun…Bring on Christmas now!!
Time for a little break before we get back into it in the New Year!

It’s a Kreative Blog award. Thanks heaps Micky!!!
It was Micky’s first ever blog award and I can safely say it’s Chelley Bean’s very first blog award too.
Exciting huh?

So there are some things I am to do to receive this illustrious award – some rules to keep it growing:
