Big News revealed!!

So, it’s always been a dream to one day have a website for Chelley Bean Designs. As of today, it’s a realisation.

My little business has grown quite a bit since my humble beginnings back in 2008 and this seemed like the next logical step. After many late nights and much hard work, a good push from my husband Jason and with lots of great help from Michael at WTFox Creative, the website was born. It will continue to grow as I have plenty of products to add and a few little ideas in the works.

To say I’m excited, happy, and proud is an understatement!

Here’s what the new website looks like…

So, I’m going to share my excitement with you and offer all our Australian customers FREE SHIPPING on our brand new Chelley Bean Designs website til midnight on Sunday 30th August. You don’t need a coupon, as you checkout free shipping will appear!

Happy Shopping and thanks for supporting Chelley Bean Designs!

New in store…Pink Hair Bow with a crown!

I’ve added these cute bows to the Etsy shop today!

I had them on my market stall in time for Christmas but this is their
debut in the Etsy shop.

Made from 7/8″ Hot Pink grosgrain ribbon into a pinwheel bow,
then I added a super cute crown with lots of bling on it!
How sweet are they?

They are just $6 each.

I’m currently busy working on a new line, which i hope I can unveil
in the next few weeks. I think you’ll LOVE them.

Stay tuned!

I thought these looked interesting today…
and only 63 calories each!
Even better!

You can find this recipe on the Shape website!

Here’s the recipe:

Zucchini Cakes
63 calories, 1.1 grams sugar, 2.1 grams fat, 7.6 grams carbohydrates, 3.6 grams protein

While these crunchy cakes are more yellow in color than green, they’re still a perfect treat for your family and friends. Each scrumptious morsel is totally satisfying and packed with vitamin-rich zucchini, yet strikingly low in calories, carbs, and fat.

1 large zucchini, grated
1 large egg
1 c. panko bread crumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. Adobo spices
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Remove excess liquid from freshly grated zucchini by placing them between paper towels and squeezing. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Heat a large pan on medium, and spray with Pam. Shape spoonfuls of the zucchini batter into 2-in. (diameter) patties, and drop onto the sizzling pan. Cook each side for about a minute and a half, or until the outside is golden brown. Finish the cakes off in the oven. Stick them on a baking pan and broil them for 1-2 minutes. Serve hot, alone or with ranch dressing.

Makes about 12 cakes.

I’m going to give these a try…sounds yum!
